Dormant company Corporation Tax return

As part of our agreed services, we will:

• Prepare a nil Corporation Tax return (CT600) for a dormant company
• Submit the CT600 electronically with HMRC
• Correspond with HMRC in respect of the return’s submission and basic acknowledgements

Please note: this list is not exhaustive. Any work not specifically listed under "Included work" is deemed outside the scope of this engagement unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Where additional work is required, we will advise you of the scope, our proposed fee, and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

The following work is outside the scope of this service unless separately agreed in writing:

• Preparation of full or abridged/filleted trading accounts
• Submission of accounts to Companies House (unless part of a separate service)
• Advice relating to the tax implications of loans to participators (CT600A)
• Liaising with HMRC in the event of a detailed enquiry or compliance check

You agree to:

• Confirm that the company remains dormant or has not traded during the period
• Provide all relevant information
• Grant us agent authorisation to file the CT600 electronically with HMRC
• Inform us of any changes to the company’s structure and/or activities
• Inform us of any HMRC correspondence

We agree to:

• Prepare an accurate Corporation Tax return in accordance with HMRC guidance
• Submit the CT600 form on your behalf within statutory deadlines
• Notify you of any issues, penalties, or correspondence received from HMRC
• Act with reasonable skill and care in accordance with professional standards
